WHY TALK TO SOMEONE?
Because everyone at some time in their lives experiences something that seems more than they can handle. Someone helping us understand why we are feeling like we do, sharing how others handle these times, and helping us find our way to successfully get through it, is very worthwhile. At times probably even life saving.
There are self help books, articles, and TV therapists, but nothing takes the place of sitting down with someone and discussing your own particular situation. Just get it off your chest. No one is exactly like you, no circumstance exactly like yours!
I consider myself a “General Practitioner”. Over the years I have been exposed to and have treated most mental and emotional problems, most relational difficulties. I respect other professionals in the Mental Health field and refer when I believe I am unable to be of benefit to a counselee.

My office is at 101 S. Atlantic Blvd. It is upstairs in Alhambra First Baptist Church. Come into the parking lot from the street behind the church (Olive). After entering through the double doors leading to the church office, go upstairs to the counseling office. It is the first door to the left. (A sign is posted in the lobby.) Another location can be used if requested.
