| Practice Description: |
Do you feel your spouse lets his or her kids run wild? Do you feel like an outsider in your own family? Is your stepfamily not what you expected? I CAN HELP! I am a professionally trained Counselor and Therapist holding a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling with a Marriage and Family Therapy specialization and am a Board Eligible Professional #IMH7798. I am also a Stepfamily Coach (certified through the Stepfamily Foundation) and have received advanced clinical training for working with stepfamilies through the National Stepfamily Resource Center, the Alabama Community Healthy Marriage Initiative, and the Florida Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
I provide supportive services in a nonjudgmental, caring environment as my mission is to help individuals, couples, and families make their experience in ‘step’ a successful one. I do this through providing education, awareness, and proven solutions to help these relationships become stronger and thrive. I also have many clients with concerns unrelated to stepfamilies.
My commitment to each of my clients is to work with them in finding solutions that will work in their own lives. I believe therapy is a gift we can give ourselves and I would be honored to accompany you on this journey. I invite you to visit my website to learn more about my therapeutic approach and my professional practice.
