Being a highly seasoned clinician, I have dealt with multiple types of issues within the psychotherapy field. I see myself as a holistic practitioner who not only looks at the presenting problem, but the entire person and their psychosocial situation. Although medication is frequently prescribed, it is but a piece of the puzzle. The true answers are to be found via a combination of therapies. It is my goal to provide my clients with exposure to possible treatment options, and to find resolution of the inner conflicts in their lives.
I view each individual as UNIQUE regardless of their presenting problem. While we may experience similar challenges, the keys to resolution will vary. My role is not to judge, but rather respect and support individual differences, choices and the pace with which one is able to proceed.
Webster defines 'TRANSITION' as movement or passage from one stage to another. I describe it as growing and learning as we pursue the common goal of your happiness and well-being.
Maya Angelou writes: "People may not remember what you say. They may not remember what you do. But they will always remember how you made them feel". It is my hope that you will feel well.
