| Practice Description: |
I believe that you are a resilient person capable of real transformation. Whatever your current life challenge may be, I want you to know that I will use my knowledge and experience as a psychotherapist to assist you in moving forward, finding solutions, and regaining a sense of well-being. Often times, feelings of being overwhelmed, depressed, anxious or frustrated are greatly reduced once you begin the therapeutic process. In my office, you can expect to find a warm and supportive environment. I will listen attentively to your needs and concerns, and we will work collaboratively as you set the pace of self-exploration and personal growth. If you are looking to heal from the past, I will provide you with a safe and respectful space in which to facilitate your process.
My approach is eclectic, emphasizing cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapy within a holistic perspective. I specialize in the treatment of stress management, anxiety disorders, depression, relational issues, grief/bereavement, women's issues, and adjustment to life transitions (including mid-life changes). I am a clinical hypnotherapist who can assist you in lifestyle changes (e.g. weight control, smoking cessation, anxiety reduction). My own personal practice of meditation, yoga, and mindfulness for many years influences my work on a deep level.
Your privacy and confidentiality are of utmost importance to me. I encourage you to call for a free 30 minute phone consultation.
