| Practice Description: |
Are you a busy professional who is stressed out, anxious or depressed? Are you struggling to juggle work and family responsibilities? Are you exhausted and worried that you have little energy for yourself? Is your career running your life?
Many people get burned out trying to please everyone. Maybe it's not one big-ticket item that you can point your finger at but an accumulation of all the nagging annoyances that compound stress in your life. I am passionate about helping my clients experience relief and deal more effectively with the barrage of stressors in life.
Counseling is tailored to your individual needs and may include looking at your thought patterns, your emotional trigger points, how you deal with conflict and loss, and how you cope with change. In addition to gaining insight, you will also learn practical skills and strategies to reduce the impact of stress. There may be situations where it is important to make peace with trauma in the past in order to live fully in the present. My counseling style is compassionate, supportive and interactive.
