As a therapist my strength and enjoyment is working with women, couples, and adolescent girls facing difficulties in their journey of life. When faced with making a difficult decision, embarking on new parenting options, or when dealing with a major loss I strongly believe emotional support and a safe place to express and explore ones feelings can help individuals move toward a positive resolution in this difficult time. Together, I work with you to illuminate and eliminate the obstacles which may be keeping you from the healing, the relationships, and/or the goals you are striving toward.
My therapeutic style is tailored to meet each individual's needs. Creating a safe environment for the individual to release ones voice, explore ones feelings and ultimately define ones existence. I am influenced by Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I enjoy exploring how today's feelings belong to yesterday's experiences.
I offer support groups for adoption, infertility, grief recovery and sexual assault. Groups can help you feel less isolated, empower you with knowledge and validate your emotional response. Rather you choose individual, couples and/or a support group, I promise not to inhibit your experience or limit your voice.
