| Practice Description: |
I focus on teaming with high-functioning clients who wish to enhance their lives with one another.
With a solution focused approach, I help each couple rapidly resolve problems so they can reconnect again and rekindle their relationship.
I am respectful of differences and provide an atmosphere where clients feel comfortable enough to share their difficulties, and supported enough to make the necessary changes for success. The couples I work with appreciate my concern for their well-being, active approach and candor.
I partner with individuals and couples to build a relationship where both partners are on the same page, connected, happy and growing individually and as a couple. With motivation and assistance I believe you can achieve your fullest potential and create the life and relationships you truly want.
You can expect to receive direct answers to your questions. You’ll learn new tools and skills for communicating, resolving conflict and dealing with difficult situations. These new approaches will help you to think, feel, and respond more effectively with one other.
You will find it easier to discuss difficult issues and explore new options within the safe, supportive environment that I provide. With your help, I can help your partner to understand what is in your mind and your heart. As a result, you both can feel loved and accepted in new and meaningful ways.
I help couples to . . . • Rebuild warmth, love and passion • Learn to meet one another’s needs without giving up their own • Communicate so they both feel understood and accepted, even while disagreeing • Rebuild trust and let go of past hurts • Resolve problems and create agreements that strengthen their relationship • Learn to share power and decision making • Manage the impact of work and other outside stressors on the relationship • Prepare for marriage • Enjoy a satisfying sex life • Deal with money, parenting issues, household management and in-laws more effectively
If you’re ready to start living the life you want while enjoying a satisfying relationship, call now at (877) 868-0783 for a free confidential discussion of your situation or to set an appointment.

| Insurance and Billing Instructions: |
Since I am not on any insurance panels or listed as a preferred provider for any insurance companies, you can be assured that your confidentiality is being protected when you see me. If your insurance will pay for my services, I will give you a superbill to submit to your insurance company. However, in that case, you should be aware that I will need to include a diagnosis and that you can not be completely assured that your therapy will be completely confidential (since the insurance company will now have information about your therapy).
Please call me if you would like to discuss insurance concerns and your therapy options. |

| Driving Directions: |
My office is located one block south of the 210 freeway at 215 N. Marengo Ave., near Old Town in Pasadena
MapQuest or your cars’ GPS System will get you near to my office, but will not tell you it is on the northwest corner of Marengo and Walnut. Since the address is behind a tree, this last bit of information is extremely important.
Parking is behind the building and access is from Walnut. The waiting room is on the third floor, and the receptionist by day and the concierge by night will call me to tell me of your arrival. I can provide complete driving directions when you call.

Background: My first twenty years in aerospace, publishing and computers have allowed me to understand many of the problems faced in a normal career. My last corporate position was president of a computer software development firm. My second twenty years has included becoming a therapist, being married and raising a niece, who is now raising her own family, and my own two boys who are now in High School. These experiences allow me to understand at a personal level some of the same problems you face in your relationships.
Client Profile: My clients are usually quite successful in other areas of their lives, and want to experience the same success in their relationships. They appreciate a therapist who will actively work with them to establish their goals for the work we do together. This means finding the tools, skills and accurate self perceptions needed to become all you seek to be and to sustain the successful relationship you want.
My clients are interested in taking a mutual journey of self-discovery with their partner. It’s a journey to not only solve the problems they now face, but to also prepare them for the future problems they will encounter in life – and to grow closer together in the process. |
