My twelve years of experience include successfully treating adults, adolescents and children in the following areas: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (O.C.D.), anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress/ crisis management, abuse/trauma, Alzheimers and other Dementias. I believe that everyone has the right and potential to achieve a life that is balanced emotionally, physically and spiritually. I feel that it is my job to help my client discover and create fulfillment in their life and relationships. I work well with people of all ages and "walks of life". It is important to know that I'm not the kind of therapist that will sit behind a desk with a clipboard, nodding my head and looking serious! Rather, I am committed to taking the journey with my client, to discover answers and solutions. Further, one of the specialties of my Doctoral program was Play Therapy. Regardless of my therapy approach, my ultimate goal is to create a safe and accepting atmosphere in which positive change and self-growth can occur.
